A Reading Room is a bookstore and library, an urban sanctuary where anyone, regardless of faith, can step away from a busy day for a few moments of quiet reflection.

      Our Christian church is located on The Ave, across the street from the University Heights Center. We're dedicated to living according to the teachings of Christ Jesus.

     We invite you to join us for church or Sunday School. See the Calendar on this page for current details. Visitors are always welcome!

     Right now instead of relaxing by the fireplace in the Reading Room, you're invited to enjoy our outdoor seating, or to just stop and say hi. Read the thoughtful reporting in the award-winning international news publication, The Christian Science Monitor. Or explore a wide range of resources for spiritual study. We have Bibles in many languages, and English Bibles in several translations.
